Job Description
Credit Central is seeking an Assistant Manager for its consumer finance branch operation. The Assistant Manager will complete a 12 to 18 month manager training program at which time the candidate will be ready to become a Branch Manager. During the training process, the employee will be:
- Making outside sales calls and reporting customer activities to the Branch Manager
- Growing the business and connecting customers with the Branch Manager
- Collections, both internally and externally
- Making written descriptions and appraising value of security. Making written credit recommendations to the Branch Manager for the loan amount and terms
- Developing skills to manage others
Job Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager will assist the Branch Manager with outside sales, credit and collections, customer service, finance and management functions including:
- Completing Branch Manager training development exercises
- Completing weekly progress reports and maintaining daily/weekly reports
- Assisting in meeting standards in weekly credit delinquency reduction, loan volume, and slow file percentages
- Assuming office management duties, as needed, to include staff management, credit extension, credit and collection functions, organization, and management of office
Job Qualifications
- Have previous finance / credit and collections experience (not required, but preferred)
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalency
- Have acceptable credit
- Possess a pleasant, positive attitude every day, outgoing personality, and higher than average energy level
- Have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
- Have stable work history
