Credit Central1 offers transactional information, payment reminders, and solicitations (collectively referred to as “Messages”) by text message via Short Message Service (“SMS”).
You may enroll when submitting a loan application, during a transaction, or by texting “JOIN” to 23107 (our “Shortcode”).
A verification code may be sent to you during an application or transaction or to verify your contact information. You may also request links or information via text message by sending a keyword (such as “HELP” or “APPLY”) to our Shortcode.
By providing a mobile phone number(s) to us as your contact information, you represent that the phone number(s) is yours, and you expressly consent to receive Messages from Credit Central manually or using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded message. You must promptly notify us of any change in your phone number(s) by contacting your local Credit Central branch.
Messages may include account information, notices, disclosures, loan documentation, and requests for signature.
Messages may also contain private, confidential information. Credit Central is not responsible for Messages seen or heard by others. If you have any questions regarding your privacy, please read our Online Privacy Policy as provided on this website.
You may receive up to 10 Messages per month, excluding any automated responses you initiate by sending a text message (such as an information or promotional keyword) to our Shortcode or requesting a multifactor/verification code.
Credit Central does not charge for SMS. Message and data rates may be charged by your carrier for any Messages sent and received and for accessing any link within a text message. Credit Central is not responsible for these charges, nor is Credit Central liable for Messages delayed or undelivered by your carrier.
You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message received from Credit Central. After you reply “STOP,” Credit Central will send one more text message to confirm you have withdrawn consent. You may also opt out by contacting your local Credit Central branch or writing us at Credit Central, 700 East North Street, Suite 15, Greenville, SC 29601, providing the ten digits of each phone number you wish to opt out.
To consent to SMS again, you may text “JOIN” to our Shortcode or consent again when submitting a loan application or during a transaction.
The SMS Terms may be terminated or modified from time to time. Credit Central encourages you to periodically review the SMS Terms to stay informed of our updates.
Credit Central can change or end this service for any reason at any time without notice.
